Teen Craft: Tape and Paint Tote Bag
Youth ages 10 to 17 are invited to make a bold statement by painting their own tote bag.
The perfect accessory to take to the beach in the summer and school in the fall.

The cost is $5.00 per-person. Pre-registration is required. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing that can get messy.
McMaster STEM Programs for Teens and Tweens
In partnership with McMaster University’s Engineering Community Outreach Team, the Haldimand County Public Library will be hosting two STEM programs for youth ages 9 to 14 at the Caledonia and Hagersville branches.
There is no cost to participate, but pre-registration is necessary as spaces are limited. To register, please visit or call the library branch at 289-674-0400.
Please note that participants under the age of 10 must have a parent or guardian (over the age of 16) in the library while taking part in the program.
Bridges and Robotics - Caledonia Branch
Participants will learn about the fundamentals of bridges and civil engineering (stability, rigidity and resistance) through fun hands-on activities. They will work to build their own working bridge and then operate ball-shaped robots, called Spheros, to test their bridge's safety
Ages: 9 to 14

Chemical Engineering (Skin Care) - Hagersville Branch
In this fun, educational and hands-on activity, participants will create their own sugar lip scrub using simple, natural ingredients. This project not only introduces students to the science behind skincare but also connects them with the rich tradition of DIY chemical engineering practices. Participants will leave with a 30ml jar of lip scrub they made themselves.
